I am available for handyman services during morning hours, Monday-Friday. I work a full-time second shift job and therefore can only offer these hours.
Generally I am operating as a one-man show. If I agree to take on a larger project, it may require considerably more time to complete. In some situations I may be able to bring on another set of hands to help but this is not guaranteed.
I pride myself on being punctual, communicative and offering only those services which I feel confident in delivering. If a project is outside my scope or identified factors change the initial assessment, I will be happy to tell you at that time.
Please contact me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
A non-exhaustive list of what I can do would include drywall, most solid flooring (nail down or plank hardwood, LVP, linoleum, tile), most electrical, basic to moderate plumbing, basic to moderate construction, screen repair, curtain/blinds installation, door repair/replacement, wall tile, fencing and more.
Painting.
Structural modifications or changes, repair roofing or operate on gas lines for others.
I may also decline projects that would simply be better handled by someone else. Some projects are not ideal for a single handyman to address and would be better served by a team/crew of workers or a specialist.
Due to the varied nature of handyman services, I bill on a per-project basis. I feel it would be unfair to charge the same to hang a towel bar as I would charge to wire a house for a generator as an example. When possible I use https://homewyse.com as a guide to determine pricing estimates.
At any given moment, I am likely working on a project for someone, driving to/from a project, or working my full-time job. I also get a lot of spam calls and as such have disabled calls from unknown numbers. Email or text is the best method of communication for me, and also ensures there's a written record of agreements made should there be questions in the future.
Unfortunately there is no handyman license available. There are licenses for general contractors, electricians, plumbers and HVAC but these require 3 years of current experience working under a licensed professional to qualify to take the assessment. As I maintain my full time job, this is not feasible.
